 My first crochet

I started crochet in April 2014 with the old hooks and cotton thread of my mother. And of course I started out simple enough with the fan bookmark that I found somewhere on the internet (I believe it was on Passion-Crochet).

Then Mother’s Day came up, and I found that simple video with how to make your crochet rose by B.hooked Crochet, and the leaf by Yolanda Soto Lopez, and there was what I thought of as my first real crochet achievement XD : the red rose! Then I made it into a brooch, gave it to my mother and… And then I was really sad that I didn’t have my rose, so I made myself another one that I dubbed ‘the winter rose’. And there you have it! My first steps as a crocheter! Ain’t that cute? 😛

 Mon premier crochet

J’ai commencé le crochet en avril 2014 avec les vieux crochets et fils de coton de ma mère. Et j’ai bien sûr commencé avec quelque chose d’assez facile comme le marque-page éventail que j’avais trouvé quelque part sur internet (je crois que c’était sur Passion-Crochet).

Puis la Fête des Mères est arrivée, et j’ai trouvé la vidéo facile pour faire une rose en crochet par B.hooked Crochet, et la feuille par Yolanda Soto Lopez, et voilà que j’avais créé ce que je considérais comme mon premier véritable succès en crochet XD : la rose rouge ! Je l’ai ensuite transformée en broche, donnée à ma mère et… Et puis j’étais vraiment triste de ne plus avoir ma rose, donc je m’en suis faite une autre que j’ai surnommée “la rose d’hiver”. Et voilà ! Mes premiers pas en tant que crocheteuse ! N’est-ce pas mignon ? 😛
